Patrik Stefan was drafted one AHEAD of the Sedin brothers.

I see what you're saying though and I have no doubt Ryan would be able to score at least 35 goals with Giroux consistently, I am just against trading young assets for him. He'll be a free agent in a couple of years. Go after him then.

- NickTheKid87

I wouldn't exactly call your point about Stefan valid because we've already seen what Ryan can do. Maybe we should wait but Giroux needs help now. I think about the Carter and Richards deals and I ask myself, how can the Ducks ask for more then what we got for those two?

On the cusp of turning 40, I was carded at a microbrewery back in late June for ordering a beer. I hugged the waitress.

Did 30's suck?

Depends on kids really. I had three kids in my early 20's so i missed out on alot of the partying my friends did but now our kids are more independant and our mid-late thirties are less hectic.

My son was born when I was 33. Once you have kids the time races past. I only remember my 30s in terms of what he was doing.

I'm working on my second... figured this time i'd save up 20k before we started trying.

My son actually took his first real steps today... 6 full steps before falling... the curse of a full time job is missing all those things

I've noticed that time does go by faster... i think it has to do with having less time for yourself...

All the sudden my wife has power over how i spend my time. Watching the Flyers is a battle..

We hippies, we're very affectionate when we aren't getting arrested or sitting in government offices.

I'm still mad I got a GMC Terrain. Terrible terrible terrible car. Its the Prius of the Mid Size SUV world minus good gas miles, they claim 22/31 mpg i get 21. I go from 1-60 in about an hour.

My dad was carded a few years back at a TGI Fridays. He was at least 50 and what's left of his hair is/was gray plus he had/has a beer belly. Not to mention a woman of around the same age (although my mom is 55, she looks about 10 years younger) and two kids were with him. I must have been about 15 and my brother 11.

My point with Stefan was that draft position is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. As for Anaheim, I'd think they'd at least ask for Voracek and a 1st which I am not willing to give up right now. Go after Perry this offseason or Ryan the year after.

For those interested... a doc I work with over here (John Kelly) will be on the 97.5 shortly to speak about Hartnell. I was just actually going over everything with him.. so might be worth a listen. Great Doc, better person. Should shed some light on Hartnells actual injury.

Hey, my Prius flys. I have no problem with acceleration. I just don't get 50 miles to the gallon when I'm doing 110 down the Turnpike.

The punishments for not checking ID on age restricted stuffs are typically rather steep.

I know what kind of point you were trying to make but Stefan never had a place in the NHL. A second round pick overall should always add up to something. I just feel your point was completely lost on me. As for what to give up, I would give up voracek and Laughton in a heartbeat for Ryan. We lost jvr in a bad trade that is currently hurting us. We need offense.
