Franzen is going to cost Marincin, 1st rounder and Gagner. That's if they even want Gagner. Regardless that will be the package top 6 forward, prospect and a 1st. Or top 4 d-man, prospect, and a 1st.

I think thats franzens value 5 years ago, hes like 33 now. I think you could get it done for gagner, hemsky and 2nd or decent prospect. Although Det might not want that as it really takes away any size in their own top six.

And the "isnt too high" comment was more of a relative statement as a lot of trades being thrown around here are for young stars. Your right about Det not really wanting to move him though, they need as much grit as they can get in their top 6.
