If the Oilers are going to use the 1st overall pick, they need to use it earlier rather than later. If they continue to have some success this year and team start to see improvement in the results and where they sit in the standings, that 1st pick becomes less and less valuable. Not sure Yandle is the guy for us. I am still not sold on Dubnyk to be honest. Seems he is having one good game then the next lets in weak goals. Need more consistency in his play. Also need to get 2nd line going. 1st line makes things happen on every shift, but need more scoring from lines 2-4. I think we miss Jones more than we know. He adds grit, goes to the greasy places, crashes, bangs and gives 100% in every shift.

Hall, Yakupov, RNH and Eberle aren't playoffs proven, while Yandle pushed a mediocre team with a good system and good D far in the playoffs for the last years.

Oilers kids have potential, all 4 of them could end up top10 in points, but it's potential, not actual talent.

Yandle is a great player and I think EDM would have to overpay for Yandle. PHX will not be taking back salary, just young ELC players, prospects or picks in return. I would like to trade for Henrik Samuelsson and one of Runblad or Gormley.

FLA is having big trouble and I would consider EDM taking a look at Upshall or Skille.

So Yandle for RNH, 1st, Smid?
