Miller is pedestrian at best. It's time for a new coach. There is a need for a sense of urgency on this team, and Lindy needs to be replaced because he isn't cutting it. - atlsabsfan
Miller is the only reason these games have even been close. Let's crucify the one guy that's actually had a decent season thus far. |

I pointed that out to my friend. 48 seconds left with an offensive zone faceoff and Lindy's got Ellis out there. Really?
Lindy had got to go. He should have been trying to put the game away there, not limp it into overtime. - HonkFortheGoose
His system sucks and people can't understand what I mean when I say it, he will live and die with Ellis and Hecht. Lindy is the problem |

I'm done being embarrassed by this team.
Terry Pegula is a (frank)ing joke. He's a self serving fan boy who used Gas money to buy his way into the lives of Lindy Ruff, Darcy Regehr and the Sabres locker room. We'll wait years before this guy every gets serious about winning. At his age I doubt he will ever see a Stanley Cup, let alone in the 3 years he thought it would take. For the record Terry is 61 years old. He wont be here forever. You can take all the pomp and circumstance this guy created and go shove it. Great, I have a metal shelf to hold my $9 beer while I piss and watch the Sabres lose on a flatscreen in the bathroom. Fantasic. We are the new Toronto Maple Leafs. |

Goose, that goal was on Miller sorry but it was. D collapsed yet again and Ehrhoff was terrible tonight. |

If it makes you feel better I got to clean my kitchen when I got home from watching the mess that is the Sabres. Heaven forbid my older sister learn how to clean up after herself. It's totally what I wanted to do after not being home since 7:30 this morning. - HonkFortheGoose
I'm also the more clean person in my household... Pretty annoying, |

It's ridiculous. This is why they lose so many games late in the 3rd or in OT. Because he doesn't coach to win. He coaches to not lose. That's not a good way to do things at all. |

Ellis gives 100% and didn't get beat - good old Miller and Leo got beat. Ellis is far from the problem, while I agree Lindy needs to go, Ennis can cut it at C - might be better off with Ellis out there than that 120 pound weasel getting pushed around. |

I suppose I understand why Lindy lasted so long with the last owner, everyone has their loyalties. What I can't understand is why he's had even an inch of slack with the new owner. Pegula doesn't owe this guy anything. At a certain point, it doesn't matter how good of a coach you are, if you haven't won in as long as he's been there, it's time to try something new. |

To be fair, he did get a good chance, probably surprised himself.
And what's with the lack of respect on here by various posters.
It's Matt Frickin Ellis. It has been written!

Miller should've hugged the post, Leo played Frattin's rush (frank)ing awfully. |

I'm not sure why he wasn't hugging the post on that last one, but in general, he hasn't been the problem this year.
Ehrhoff was not terrible. Him and Sekera were the best 2 D men out there. I also liked the way Weber played, but he unfortunately missed almost an entire period due to penalties.
Myers and Leopold were both a mess tonight. |

Ellis shouldn't be out there with 48 seconds left in a tied game when it's an offensive zone faceoff. No, he didn't lose the game for us. But Lindy should have had our offensive players out there. Someone who could have actually had a chance to put the game away. |

I thought Myers played better but Leo is horrible and Ehrhoff had to many giveaways. Ennis is just to small and we are going to get plastered up the middle. |

Anyone care to chime in on pegula's love affair with "the brain trust?"
Anyone know what his opinion was last year when we all assumed the team had tuned him out for good? How does an owner pretend to not hear the dressing room stuff like that? You really gotta wonder what goes on down there at Seymour Knox place.

You're probably right. He bought the team as a hobby and that's doing a disservice to the fans. A serious owner has to run the team like a business, that's what it is (maybe not to the extend that MLSE runs the Leafs like a business). What's Ruff going on now, 16 years? Would Pegula tolerate someone in his gas business accomplishing essentially nothing in 16 years? Doubt it. |
