GIVE KADRI MORE ICE-TIME SHEESH. Was a beast today in only 17 minutes of ice-time. HAHAHA KALETA. That rat got what he deserved, it was a clean hit. Brown beat up the taller Weber, adding insult to injury. GOLEAFSGO.

How come you didn't capatalize beast?
The way I read your post, beast should have been emphasized.

Sheesh

But now brown may be out. And barff thinks brown should get 3 games.

Which bloggers has the biggest homer: Cloutier, Esplen, or Garth...I pick Cloutier. But they are all so annoying.

Had to watch the game online. The sabres commentators said the same thing. "Weber showed Brown what happens when he does that again."

sure it was, the kessel line (which i already said i felt got too many minutes) was matched up against one of the scoring lines.. buffalo was pushing at the end so hence, lots of ice time for the kessel line.

line matching.

- Dozzer

That's stupid line matching. You want to stop a scoring line? You don't put Kessel on the ice. That's the opposite of what you want. You want your strongest defensive players in that situation, not your worst defensive players.

then frattin's production slows down because he would have to be the physical presence on that line.
- Dozzer

So what? Then maybe Kessel can start scoring. And just because Frattin starts hitting more, doesn't mean he can't score too. If that was the case, there would be a lot of power forwards with zero career goals.

Because what he is doing so far isn't working for them?
- jribout

Is it working for Kessel with his 20 bad angle shots per game and comatose linemates?

Fwiw, it was less about winning the fight, rather forcing the issue. The Sabres are still smarting from the lack of sticking up for Miller/each other last year. He made him pay the price, yes. He paid it, alright, but I believe that's the point you're missing.

Anyhow, not looking for a pissing contest.

We were talking about what's best for Frattin and Kadri..... I would love to see Kadri and Frattin with Kessel at sometime..... but as my neighbour said once when John Kordic speared him at a conditioning camp and i asked him if he dropped the gloves

"you need to learn to crawl before you run"

Two thirds of the line is working. And yeah, if it means getting Kessel going, it's worth it.

How did he make him pay the price if he lost the fight...you are talking like Weber went after a non-fighter. Fighting is what Brown does.

And it's not what weber does. Weber held him accountable for the hit. Brown won, for sure, but he should. As you say, that's what he does.

So he definitely paid the price, with interest even. But he was held accountable for the hit.

Clear?

Holding someone accountable means they won't do the same thing again. Do you honestly think Brown would even think for a second before he does that again? He will do the same check 10 times out of 10. And then beat up whoever tries to hold him accountable lol

You should probably figure out that putting two of the hottest players together with the player that is suppose to have the most talent would work better.
