And yet, Frattin seemed to have benefited from it. As did McClemment.
Come back and whine about it after a game where it doesn't work out. - Leeman4Gilmour
And yet, the point goes right over your head. The younger players should be ahead of the 4th line veterans. Simple. |

Turned his body toward the boards to take a hit from behind at the bench. Tried to sell it as if he was shot. Refs gave him 2 minute misconduct.
Habs up 4-3 with 4 to play.

You forgot the
By the way, McClemment got 16:59 TOI and Frattin was at 16:10. It seems really stupid to whine over 49 seconds. |

Why not keep him on the line where he just scored 2 goals? At least for a game. - Jeffmt
No no. That makes too much sense.
Not like chemistry has anything to do with him being successful. |

Carlyle said he screwed up last game focusing too much on matchups.....you're right, we gotta get kadri and frattin's ice time up, and I think as the coach gets more comfortable that will happen. As you said before, guys have to earn it, and thus far, the kids are earning it. IF in 2 weeks their minutes are still down, rant away.
*Again, on that sabres 3rd goal, I think Carlyle thought he saw something that didn't actually happen. - mykokes
From game one, two of the Leafs most offensively dangerous players have been Frattin and Kadri and they have still got the short end of the stick in ice time. Countless 5 on 3 powerplays have come and gone with Kadri on the bench. Then, two spots in the top-six open up and Frattin is still getting less ice-time. It hasn't been just one game. |

What's the secret to containing Freakarenko?
How were the Leafs able to hold him to only 1 goal tonight? |

sigh, no need for that
his point is valid.. frattin and franson, both 25 were the main contributors tonight, and mcclements goal was just a good hard dig to bang in a blast of a shot from kadri that rang off the post.
the young guys won this game tonight - Dozzer

Frattin should have been with Grabovski and Kulemin and McClement should have been with Kadri. Kadri created the goal for McClement remember? And Frattin has worked well with Grabovski and Kulemin in the past. |

Based on your previous argument of play the kids more (which you clearly lost today) shouldn't it follow that you play the kid together..... If they are going to develop for the future may as well develop them so they can play together in the future |

At least they can justify Kessel getting ice time but how the hell does van Riemsdyk get 24 minutes and do absolutely nothing? |

Freakarenko is so good, he can score 1 goal in a losing cause, be a minus 2 and still end up being the hero of the game........ Garth - esteemed Sabres blogger |
