Let's agree to disagree, then. I simply don't think Kessel is worth 7+ mil. He doesn't bring anything besides streaky scoring. No toughness, grit, leadership, intangibles of any sort whatsoever.

The rule should be only in affect within the circle where the face-off is being taken, not the big circle. I can see why they don't want players being able to put their glove down right on the dot and pull it back to a player, to me it's the same as a glove pass. Not sure it's worth a penalty, but players shouldn't be allowed to do it.
