Still say Kessel and Franson for Paajarvi + Edmonton's first this year + Edmonton's second this year
Draft Drouin and Monohan with ours and Edmonton's picks, couple them with Colborne, Ashton, Biggs, McKegg and we have finally some solid forward prospects |

Florida won their division last year; they'll hardly be in top 3 range IMO.
Anyway, whatever, if the Leafs need to trade Kessel because he won't re-sign, they need blue chip prospect +, not draft picks. - Domidives
I would think if we can get a top 5-6 pick this year, and one blue chip prospect then we should take it.
We won't get 2 1sts and a 2nd, but he can still help a number of teams out there |

In a shortened season I wouldn't be surprised if EDM had a decent enough run to drat outside the top 10. |

Like the Leafs, from making another bad deal to right a previous bad deal.

Not crazy about Ashton(I was a big Aulie fan) but I do think Colborne will be vindicated one of these days.
When he was given increased ice time in the AHL his numbers shot through the roof.
I think he'll earn a roster spot next year |

Would Edmonton trade for more offense when they have Hall, Ebs, RNH, Yak, Gagner and Hemsky...but can really use help on the blueline and in net?

He's had lots of time to make the team. Seems like his chances are fading. |

Find a way to get Ryan O'Reilly from the Avalanche with a deal involving kessel. Oh boy would that be splendid |

If we give Kessel 7-8m after next year, at a time when Kadri and Gardiner are looking for new deals, then we really tie ourselves down.
BB left Nonis a decent cap situation and it'd be a waste to screw it up |

Not necessarily. I the same way Kadri had to deal with a lack of any permanent opening on the roster, Colborne had to deal with Bozak, Grabs, Steckel, Connolly etc down the middle.
If things open up a bit, he'll get his shot with the third line. |

In an evaluation of some notable OHL players, Sportsnet’s Patrick King said of Percy “his numbers don't do him justice, but Percy is a rock on defense.”
I guess i interpreted this wrong. - Arctic_AARDVARK
10G/29pts in 48 games. -2.
always been more than 0.5 PpG. He's solid defensively, but he's not a shut-down guy.

If he can't make the team beating out the likes of Bozak, Steckel and Connolly, he sure won't make it in the future |

How old is Colborne now?? his name wasn't even in the conversation to make the team a couple of weeks ago, that I re-call anyway.
I've long thought Colborne isn't going to cut it and Chiarelli knew it.
