This thread is to talk about Leafs hockey and things concerning the Leafs, not to entertain talks about current Montreal players who will not be playing in a Leafs uniform. Unless fans of other teams want to talk about things pertaining to the Leafs, they should go beak in their own thread, just imo. I don't care if you're a regular or not.

Carolina put him on waivers
- Barx

Meh, Leafs should simply call up Connolly and hope he can make up for losing Lupul to injury.

Zach Boychuk wouldn't bring much to the leafs imho.

He's too small and this team is soft enough as it is.

There is also enough offensive Dmen on the team.

If Bozak doesn't wake up soon, he's going to find himself watching Connolly playing ahead of him

He's a winger.

You must be thinking Johnny Boychuk, who isn't small at all.

Connolly is a center, Lupul is a winger. They called up Frattin who plays a somewhat similiar role to Lupul than Connolly.

That kid has been up and down so much, he set a record for frequent bus miles.

I know, real bad, but worse than Kadri,, never produced at teh NHL level at all.

how bout picking up Boychuk off waivers?
- Barx

I'd look at it. Still 23 good AHL stats.... Former 1sr rounder.

Probably wont make it past other to us. I can see him getting picked by someone

Well, Bozak's success could largely be attributed to Kessel. So as long as Kessel doesn't put the numbers he should, Bozak's play will suffer.
