The sad irony is that Frattin would still be with the Marlies if not for Lupul's injury.
Was RC going to even give him a chance? Boy he be wrong. 3 point game the other night, 2 goals tonight, HOLY MACKINAWWWWWWWW - GCHonda
Great finish and I love that we got the win so I don't want to be a negative nancy but omg that (frank)ing Bozak needs to go. What a lackadaisical p.o.s. Just floats around and while Kessel and JVR are just dog tired from fighting for the puck in the offensive zone and defensive zone. Bozak? Fresh as a daisy looking for a breakaway pass.
I hope Franson can build some confidence from this game and keep this kind of play going. Not to say he's going to get 2pts a game, but I think he's a much better player than he's shown for the most part with the Leafs.

McClement should not be getting more ice time or top-six minutes over Frattin or even Kadri for that matter.

I think RC and the staff assumed it was kadri's fault on the third sabres goal (even though it was one of the other two players on the line). If you notice, Kadri stopped getting a regular shift after that point. The tapes will reveal Kadri had his guy and all will be right.

McClemment played a solid game, I don't see the problem with him being on a line that wasn't getting top minutes. Hasn't it been Kuli and Grabo playing a shut down line so far this year? Doesn't McClemment play that role too?
I'm also pretty sure Kadri, Frattin and Kamorov were more of the scoring line tonight so I really don't see the complaints about depth when the team was playing its lines for certain roles.
Other than the grigogretzky goal (I thought is was weak) Reimer was a beast - burn
I've never given up on Reimer. He was good in his first year, then last year he got hurt and never looked the same. I've thought he's looked pretty good so far this season, and only expect him to get better.
