Panaccio just tweeted that they're running 5 lines, and that B. Schenn was skating on two of them.

and your dream is true

Lilja and Gervais look like a pair with Foster odd man out

- Jsaquella

Have to think that Lavy is going with Lilja for his PK ability over Foster for his PP skills (really just his shot). Lilja gives him another d-man he can use on the PK, whereas Foster does not. And since he has not been making much of a difference on the PP, there doesn't seem to be much reason to use him.

Snider's comments are similar to anything you might read on here.
They are losing games because of special teams, and it's harder to score 5 v 5.

Obvious and true.

Not sure I'd take it as a warning that heads will roll if they don't improve.

Weinrich claimed it allowed him to see the ice/puck better because it cut down on the glare.

Based on Mr. Snider's prior history? I'm thinking an assistant coach goes, to make a STATEMENT.

The car was a stick shift.. the guy being carjacked even told them how and they couldnt.

Thought it was funny enough to share..

Usually when Snider makes critical public statements, it is a sign that changes will come if things don't get fixed.

This is now twice since the lockout that Snider has publicly mentioned the Flyers keeping up with the rest of the league in terms of what they are doing. Unlike us, Snider can act on his opinions.

Firing a coach imo sends the wrong message.

The team needs to pick up the play.

I guess anything can happen.
Its the Flyers.

I see your point, just don't think firing Lavi or an assistant would make them better.
Although it probably happens if they miss the play offs.

Never heard the term before but you are correct. African Canadian just doesnt roll off the tongue.

Does anyone from Canada know if black people are referred to as African Canadians???

Not sure if this is a real question but i'm not falling for it. Must backread first to make sure...

I'd say mid-short season is when something major will happen if they wanna shake things up. I think that Lava stays though,

It does, Marc, I agree. However, it's harder to simply waive or trade a player for a lousy pick in a cap system (oh God! That word! *washes fingers for having typed it*). It's easier to let a coach go.

I agree with you, FWIW...I just know what the Flyers do.

I don't even think it would be missing the playoffs. I think if they are still scuffling at 10 or 15 games, heads will roll.

I would say if the Flyers miss the playoffs, someone's losing their job, whether we think they are good guys or not.

I understand the guy's passion for wanting to win now - but as you said that should have been back when he had Lindros and Leclair and the Minnesota line for the PK/checking. He needed Clarke to bolster the D so the goalies would not be left out to dry like laundry on a line in winter.

I am happy that Snider is hell bent on winning, at least he does not stand pat. I know that he can rush things but his passion for winning is something I like as an owner.
