Yea for sure, but AV's job is to win games and I'm definitely with him on this one. That's the upside to having two very good goalies, you can ride the hot hand and neither of them will be overworked in a busy short season.

That's exactly the point, if those are the types of deal that MG is being offered then why would he take it at this point? Our team isn't strong enough to win games with a backup/mediocre goalie right now so that's like 5-10 points down the drain. I don't think role players like Bozak and Franson are going to make up for those 5-10 points, they aren't impact players. I couldn't care less about having one of the goalies sitting in the bench because Gillis obviously isn't being offered anything that will improve our team.

What you're saying is that we should make a trade just to make one even if it doesn't improve our team. The media will always sensationalize things in markets like Vancouver. The media isn't in the ice stopping us from winning games.
