Agreed. I'd like to see Burrows back on the top line in the near future. - AlexF
I don't know, burrows is very good with Kesler |

I meant in terms of puck-possession and passing. The finish isn't quite there.
Henrik has 4 points in 6 gp, and Daniel is point/game, so even the production isn't exactly bad.
They were almost invisible against SJ and LA, though. - VanIsle Canuck
Yeah that's always been a concern (in the playoffs) which is why having secondary scoring is so important to the team's contender status.
It's tough to judge now though. It's still early days and Kesler and Booth are still out. |

He's better with the Sedins (in terms of chemistry) IMO |

Not so sure if I'd do that. Philly would have to add. - VanIsle Canuck
So a 6'4 center , a 6'2 RHF third liner ,that fights and scores , and a 6'5 tough dman for a very good goalie and a Dman that coughs things up more than a 40 year smoker is not enough
I hope you were joking |

Maybe a pick/mid-level prospect. - VanIsle Canuck
As i mentioned maybe they throw in Read or Bourdon. Or maybe Olli Maetta |

So you don't like or think my Schneider and Edler for Simmons, Coutourier and Coburn is fair? |

So Schneider has a slow start to the year and he's garbage?
Edler is worth Couturier, and Schneider is worth more than Coburn and Simmonds.
Like I said, if they add something like a 2nd/mid-level prospect, I'd do it.
You must be really high on Simmonds and Coburn.
To me they're a good 3rd liner and a good bottom pairing D. Nothing more. Certainly not worth Schneider. |

Simmons is IMO a top 6 forward. So a top 6 forward that's gritty and a #4 d man for a young up in coming goalie who will probably be very good isn't fair? |

I think Schneider has had one slow game . I think he has been very decent every other game .
I think Schneider for Couturier
I know you rate Edler high, but if I can get Simmonds and a big D for him I am taking it.
Who was our last forward that was tough as nails that scored 28 goals and 50 pts? |

I believe a certain poster on here who has a weekly slumber party where they watch sex in the city and tranny porn and also has a Jesse Blacker doll told us he would be better then Erik Karlsson. Could this be a hint that this mentioned poster could be completely full of crap |

I seriously have doubts Simmonds will continue to produce the numbers to be a top6 forward. I think he tops out as a good third liner.
It's not far off, but it would take a bit more to convince me to trade Schneider.
I also don't think Lou wants to stay in Vancouver long term, so that's a factor, as well. |

Im not sure we have a choice . We have a top 10 goalie with an unmovable contract . I think we may have to look at moving the other guy.

Maybe Eddie Lack or Cannata replaces him in a couple yrs. Mike G has to maximize his assets. If he can get a top 6 for luongo then fine do it. I'm happy with either as long as the other brings a solid and fair return |
