I don't think so. It's just about rewarding a guy who had a good game with another one. At the end of the season, Schmeider will have played more games than Lu, and he will be the guy in the playoffs. It's not a big deal right now.

Exactly, if I was a player I'd be more concerned if Schneider got the start. Players who are playing well should be rewarded and vice-versa. Contracts, trades, and etc should not have any effect and if it does then you're going to have some serious problems between your coaches and players. Look at Weise, Ballard and Tanev, all of them are being rewarded more ice time this year for better performance.

Because sitting your #1 never has a negative effect before on a Canuck goalie . What was the quote , oh yeah "I want to be traded" .It was said I think sometime around June.

Exactly, if I was a player I'd be more concerned if Schneider got the start. Players who are playing well should be rewarded and vice-versa. I agree if I was AV I would give him another start after the game he played in LA. If his team throws him under the bus again. We will see a trade very soon after. They play different with him in net. Is it becoming a locker room issue?

I couldn't make that decision. Which ever one gives you the best return but if one wants out you have to get rid of him as soon as possible because no matter how well said player is dealing with it is still a cancer in the room and the only way to treat it by cutting it out.

Shouldn't CS as a #1 be given the same rope as Lou did as a starter to work out his game ? At times the last few years when Lou struggled he was given a lot of slack to find his game , I'm sure hope CS is given the same .

Now just after typing that maybe the season is to short to allow that to happen

Our Defense has sucked .We need help ,and Kesler nor Booth, will sove those giveaways and blind passes.

Again tradable asset can get you a D . Sitting him on the bench gets you media coverage

The trouble with that is one good player is on the bench wearing a ball cap every game.Unless you can trade CS it will continue to be that way because I have come to believe Lu had vetoed a trade with several teams and the 2 teams he wants to play for will not take the contract on.

I agree with most but I believe LU will get the start against the Hawks too. LU has had very good numbers against the Hawks in regular season.
