Kings gave every fan tonight at staples a replica Stanley cup ring... What a great idea.

zero issue with that signing, has started the year with 4 points in 5 games. so its been more of the same from him really.
- Dozzer

Exactly, won't find many leaf fans that will complain a whole lot about his signing.

Not sure why, but the Leafs have to overplay current players to stay, and no one wants to sign there as a ufa...and if they do, it's someone like Connolly.

Canucks on the other hand, get discounts on both Rfa and ufas.

It's sad that 4.6 for Garrison is seen as a discount. Garbovski more than likely would have got in Free Agency what leafs gave him, maybe lupul too.

yeah i would say burrows is the comparable and he is signed for a million less.

however it looks like grabo is out of the gate a bit quicker this year. 4 points to burrows 2, and as a leafs fan, i wont lie, i hope that trend continues

MacArthur and Kulimen probably too. Actually don't mind where the leafs are when it comes to contracts and cap space and such.

I think he's overpaid but I don't consider him overrated.

He hauls big minutes, and despite the odd McCabe-esque brainfart he's actually pretty good.

Just be nice if he could hit the bloody net once in a while

- AngryWhiteMale

Offensively he's pretty bad I think. I've never seen a less accurate shot. I don't mind him defensively.

Strangely enough the general consensus seems to suggest I have things backwards.
