Everyone I know on earth, including people who actually work for the Islanders "have heard (insert story here)". None of them have ever been correct. My all-time favorite was that a group of super-rich rabbi's (or something like that) were set to buy the team from Wang.

Ek is reporting Subban signed "Two years, $2.875 cap hit. The real-dollar salary will be $2 million in year one and $3.75 million in year two. Great deal for the Canadiens, who stood firm to their guns except for a slightly higher year two salary. "

I don't doubt it at all.. Im sure Wang wants to get back as much of his loses as he can & They will want to see how well the isles draw, how well the arena & Hockey are received.. But down the line... i dont see how this wont happen.

You don't think if any reputable billionaire who buys this team isn't gonna fire a retired backup goalie turned GM who has done jack sh!t to improve this team? If Prokhorov/Ratner didn't fire him then I'd say they are just as clueless as Wang.
Its very difficult to believe in this franchise when Wang/Snow are in the front office. Even when we move to Brooklyn, we will still have a retired backup goalie dips!t as our GM, and a fecking arena football league dragon as our mascot. Oh, and Dee Karl as a blogger...Yippee!
