Losing in OT wasnt the problem. KO took a big shot at Montoya but shot at his glove. Hickey pinched in and the guys were playign to win the game.

Unfortunately puck popped out and play went other way. Nabby gave up a rebound to Jokinen shot and game was over.

The point is we should have never been in that situation. Isles stole that game when they scored 3 goals and got a 2 goal lead. the comeback was the hard part.

Btw, Donovan is more Isles ready that Nino. He a better plus/minsu player. Also he fired a 98MPH slapper in the AHL skills challenge.

A young, top 6 power foward and you throw out 4 players you don't want on your team for him.
Holzer is probably the best of the bunch but no way do you trade Nino for a 5/6 defensive defenseman.

Subban is much more what Nino can attract in return with the right package. You keep that awesome Defense in Toronto and the Isles will build with numerous young guys that they have in their system.

Good for Nonis btw on sticking to his word and not trading whatever you have left for Luongo. With or without Luongo, Tor wasn't winning any championships. Keeping players like Kadri and Gardner is a smart play by him.
