It honestly probably won't be long before all hell breaks loose with the Sabres. With the Darcy extension there is no way he can fire Ruff without a public outrage as to why he still has a job. I'm still not happy about that secret extension Darcy and Lindy received during the Golisano/Quinn years.

From a pure talent standpoint, yes, he should. However, if Ruff's going to keep playing him behind Hecht with regards to linemates/minutes, then no reason to use up a year of his ELC.

To my thought about Myers, and your response about contract being a magnifying glass.

That's how it should be, we are paying for him to be an all star and he is giving us sub par performance. HOpefully he can take a couple weeks off if his ankle is hurting him. He isn't performing well, so take the time to heal and get 100%.

True and if they win 75% of their games this plave will be a madhouse. The more likely sceneario is that they will get 1 win this week , play .500 hockey the rest of the way and the only buzz will be the sound created by the surmounting anger towards Lindy.
