I have always sold myself on the notion that Lindy is a good coach, but he and the team need a change of scenery. Now I am starting to wonder if he's just not a good coach, who has had some decent to great goaltenders along the way.

he had one good team (post lock-out), he couldn't get it done. Other than that he has relied heavily on his goaltending. Put this patchwork worth of a team in front of late 90's hasek and we go deep in the playoffs.

Non hockey fans wouldn't recognize Gretzky in a bar. Hockey players are virtually anonymous to non hockey fans

The true fans would have no problem picking them out but maybe not. Ill aways remember the US/Can game at the arena. Row in front of us and like 6 seats over were all the Stars scouting staff (Joe Nieuwendyk/ Gary Roberts et all) scouting campbell im sure.

All these Canadiens and not one picked em out then about half way though the game my buddy is jsut like you dont even recognize an all time great. DOnt you know after that they just get swammed.

Long story short not everyone can point em out with out without a helomet and a sweater on.

I could care less about his personality. My concern was we got significantly better 2 years in a row when he went down.
