Good point, I believe we had one of the lowest amount of players playing hockey during the lockout which has to be a factor, but could also benefit us down the road since our guys won't be as worn out. If we can stay afloat, things could really come together nicely since we should be really fresh(especially Kesler and Booth), plus guys like Ballard/Tanev/Raymond look improved this year(we'll see if they can keep it up though). - Nucker101
This team always starts slow anyways... I believe Minny has a chance to win the division because they tend to start off hot and have stretches of great hockey. If they stay healthy and we don't get healthy fast.. I think they win the division (which frankly means nothing nowadays) |

Yeah, I could see Minny winning for sure if they stay hot and get good play from their defense. |

What's the timelines for Greene and Willie? I think you're overestimating the Canucks big time, we're without Booth for a few more weeks and Kesler as well, but his timeline seems like more of a mystery. I think SJ will fall back down to earth a bit soon enough. I've been watching the Blues on center ice and they have dominated games at times, great with puck possession and defensively and 3 lines that can score plus 2 solid goalies make them the team to beat IMO. CHI looks really good, their core group of players is still amazing. NSH looks like a bottom feeder to me. - Nucker101
Mitchell is day to day, some expect him back Thursday, but we'll see. Greene probably wont be back until late March, if not later. Muzzin has been playing good hockey though, so it makes the loss a little easier. |

Yeah, I thought the entire Kings defense played pretty well. Muzzin was pretty involved and was noticeable in a good way. Love Willie Mitchell, class act and a great team player. I was very happy for him when the Kings won the cup, too bad it couldn't be with his hometown team. |

Our local sports talk radio suggested there may be a bit of an issue between Mitchell and Sutter. Your thoughts....... |

Wasn't the same reported between AV and Willie when he had the concussion? Seems strange that it would happen again since Willie is known to be a good locker room guy and a team player. |

I think the issue with AV and Willie had more to do with the fact that Willie was never quite the same after that hit that concussed him defensively (not to mention that Mitchell was never one of AV's boys). It took Willie a couple of years before he was the same Willie we all know. Sutter's been known to look at a player dimly if he won't come back quickly after an injury. |
