A laundry list of injuries? I don't think he'd stay healthy for even a 48 game season. |

According to Cap Geek the Rangers will be able to add in excess of $7MM in cap hits at the trade deadline assuming no other major moves are made. So even if we took Connolly at this point for the price you suggested, we'd still have around $5MM at the deadline ot make some moves. - gkmkiller
And yea have to remember that you only aquire remaining salary. So @$5M cap space you can aquire $10M in yearly salary at the half way point of the season. |

Pretty sure Glen's number of $7M already factored that in. We have $3.5M of annual space, but $7M of prorated space for half a season. |

You could play him with Hagelin and/or Kreider, and have a third line that is lightning fast and can cause problems with the defense. I am not suggesting the guy is Mario Lemieux, I'm just saying that for the remainder of the season at $2.3 million dollars, he may not be a bad option, or least if we are talking about guys that may be available now. I am sure that more options will open up later in the year, but we still have depth problem.
But, I don't even know what it would take to get him, even putting the salary aside, and whether the Leafs will want to leave the space open in case they decide to make a run for somebody. So, its probably not realistic. |

he seems like the type of player that would get in tort's doghouse quickly. |

I visited the Book Depository in Dallas this September. That's a pretty tough shot. |

I guess we'll just stick with Ferriero, he did add a spark to the lineup. The only other option I see is Moore, but like you said he might not be ready.
Edit: Betts is an option, that could work |

Here's a name I'll throw at you.
Boyd Gordon, center on Phoenix. Last year of deal, stupendous on faceoffs, Phoenix going nowhere fast this season, PHX traditional trading partner of Rangers, watch for that one.... |

Nice suggestion, could very well happen. Would pursue Moore first. Plus, with five weeks to deadline, if Phoenix doesn't punt by then, wonder if Arnott kight be cleared by then? |

Maybe, I think Phx will wait a little bit more until they decide if they're giveing up on the season or not. |

why didn't Phaneuf's hit on Tavares and Brad Stuart's hit on Landeskog warrant words from Shana-ban?
the inconistency here is off the charts |

I watched a special on Military Channel where a team of forensics experts recreated the scene at Dealey Plaza and the only location the kill shot could have come from given the blood spatter evidence from the Zapruder film was from the book depository building. If the kill shot had been fired from the grassy knoll as some have suggested, the kill shot would have exited the president's head and injured Jackie as well. |

if a shot came from the grassy knoll it would have been so close it would have completely oblitirated Kennedy's head, there would have been nothing left. |

It depends on what weapon the alleged assassin would have used from the grassy knoll. They did two simulations; one with a higher powered rifle which disintegrated the simulated president's head and the other the same weapon that Oswald allegedly used. Oswald's weapon caused an exit wound that surely would have meant Jackie would have been wounded badly.
I was also surprised that the sharpshooter that they brought on for this simulation was able to pull off all the shots precisely. The shot from the book depository was not an easy one to make. |

I actually am one of those people who believed Oswald acted alone, as far as the shooting goes anyway, I believe no one else was there.
I used to be a conspiracy nut and have read everything I could get my hands on regarding it, and the more you look at it, the more disappointing it gets. |

Yeah, that's a brilliant argument. I'm sure at the end of the season Redden will still have more goals than Nash. - TheMessiah94
Have you watched Nash play? He is AWESOME.
And then there's Redden... |
