Wasn't horrible Kass lost and took a big shot at the end. He threw some nice ones too. Clowe knows who Zack is now

I think Kassian would be wise to take another season of conditioning and fight training before he goes in for the rematch.

What is the purpose of having two Sedins line up against the boards?

Reminds me of a trick play where you have the end hiding by the sidelines for the unexpected pass?

We need DCT to chime in our special teams

Good deal.
I just got home from my second b-day party today (friends of my kid). Back to back. Skate lessons this morning. Just sat down to start watching the game, noticed it was 2-0, and then my 2 year old spilled a cup of choc milk in my lap.

I'm coming to yours next sunday...

I took my daughter skating for the 1st time today. She's a little over 2 and the smallest skates they had were 2 sizes too big. She refused to stand on the ice at all and I had to skate around with her in my arms for a while. Then I asked the staff and they said I could bring on the stroller. A stoller on ice is a little like playing Mario Kart. It was a good time!

did nobody else notice hansen cross check the ref before the opening face off? no mention of it on tv like it happens all the time. is that not a serious no-no?

I didn't see it. It must not have hurt much. That would be a big deal if he had done it on purpose and will any force.

it was really odd. after couture and burrows had their little dust up and clowe came in, hansen literally cross checked the main ref in the back towards clowe. the ref just turned around and looked at him like wtf? and then nothing, and nobody has said a thing about it.

How much longer does Garrison get a free ride? The guy has been lackluster at best, especially on the powerplay where he was supposed to be lights out.

The last 4 games Edler wasn't really passing the puck...He's got some shots tonight but i'm not sure if any of them hit the net.

He's not being utilized on the pp. Edler never sets him up. Tonight is the first time all season I've seen him get set up.

Disagree. I thought they've been trying to set him up too much. They don't need to force it. He's having a hard time hitting the net and getting his shots through.

I'm not sure being on the first unit pp and having 0 points condones excuses such as "not being set up."

New team, new system, new partner. Might take some time. But I agree, he hasn't been good so far.

And somewhere between this year's pedestrian start, and last years playoff debacle, Gillis thought it was a good idea to make him the highest paid defenseman on the team.

Yes, he probably would've cashed in on UFA day, so certainly a double-edged sword.

Edler has had some rough moments, but every Canuck D except Tanev has been awful defensively so far. Not sure you can single him out—he hasn't been the worst of the bunch.

That contract was a steal. Nobody should be complaining about it except PK Subban.
