Always been a big Mike Knuble fan. He was an underrated and under appreciated player when he was here previously.

I believe Laughton will be returned today. He has shown he belongs no question, but when the Flyers are healthy (I know that is a huge IF) there aren't enough minutes for him to continue his development imo. These 5 games at the NHL level for him, should boost his confidence tremendously. He knows he belongs already, and will only improve his game.

I think Laughton is here to stay. We'll see. I won't be upset either way. I can see both sides.

should be a good game... but with tampa you never know...

I'm curious to watch us play against Matt Carle.. i liked him as a Flyer and was sad to see him go.. but playing against him maybe we will be able to see if the nay sayers were right or wrong about him

Never thought I would say this but I'm looking forward to seeing Lilja.
Foster is struggling. There was a late shift with Grossmann and it was a nightmare last night.

Richards has the heart of a Lion. I give him props for even dropping the gloves with Doan. He gives away what 35+ pounds?

i had a dream last night flyers were up 3-0 in the cup finals against the kings. what an epic final that would be, huh?

they were playing at CBP for some reason tho.

I don't think a decision has been made public yet. I'm sure the Flyers know what they are going to do right now. I tend to agree, I think he should be returned. Not because he doesn't belong, simply because he need top 6 minutes to develop. Those aren't available to him with the Flyers.

Its not surprising, Lavy has been singing the praises of him since camp. We'll see though what makes you think he is playing?

I understand the premise. But I do have a question for you, how did NJ get better losing Parise?
- PLindbergh31

Alright...maybe not the Devils.

My thoughts exactly. It will do him no good to be our fourth line center without special teams time.

I'm thinking he stays also, but I'm on the side of those who say send him back.

He looks like he can handle the 11 or so minutes he's given a night but it's my belief he'd benefit more - ice time, strength, confidence, play in all situations - if he's returned to Oshawa.

Let's certainly hope not. They are 3-0 doing it with smoke and mirrors. God I hate that franchise.

They've got an incredible coach who runs a pretty good system for the current day and age in the NHL.. you get your guys to buy in like they have and this is what happens...

They're agressive on the forecheck but they always seem to get back and smother you going the other way.. its really impressive.. even if it does make me sick watching them do it...

Knuble looked better then I expected him to. Expectations need to be tempered.
- MJL

I don't know....I was watching him skate behind the play a bit and my first thought was that I was watching an alumni game

He's been playing on the third line more often tho. Plus Lavi moves guys all over during the course of the game. I've argued about this before, not going to get into it again. But just saying he's going to get 4th line minutes is kind of inaccurate.

To me it doesn't make a difference either way. He's already showed he can be effective at this level.
