Best effort so far, thank god it worked in their favor, the 1st line of course is a dominate line but I love he Ferriero-Callahan-Hagelin line, Ferriero's speed compliments Hags speed, Stepan now 3rd line RW, he's following the Dubi route alright, as soon as Arnott or Kreider are ready Steps has to sit, he's growth is stuck.

If I wanted to take the time to search for former Devils who had success later with the Rangers I would. Your argument is tired and can't be substantiated. Holik and Gomez were both big dollar, long term deals. Arnott is not.

I only saw bits and pieces of the first 2 periods, but I thought the third period was excellent.

Gabby-Richie-Nash got to stay together. Hagelin looks great playing with Ferrio (sp?) and Callahan... Think they should keep that line together. Stepan-Boyle-Pyatt was also good.

But the boys kept the puck all game and it worked out in the end. Stuck with it and it worked out. I felt that last season, even down in the 3rd period, we were gonna pull it out. Hopefully that continues.

That said, its the Leafs so lets beat a good team next.
