The cap is dealt with. Unless we're getting something really good, Lu is going to be better. I'm fine with keeping both guys for this year. Unless is gets weird or we get some serious value, I like having 2 good goalies.

Even if the Canucks end up having to buy him out, it's better than having to take back any type of salary with term that does not fit the team needs. Aside from that, if Lou can help the team get deeper into the playoffs then it goes a long way to paying for that buyout.

Some people in hockey are such crotchety old men. It's like they are really playing for life and death and laughing is some kind of dereliction of duty. If it was a goal when the Oilers were up by 3, he'd be a dink. If they were getting blown out and he did it, he'd be a clown. It was a late tying goal and it was a little over the top. But really, who cares? Let the kid celebrate how he wants.

The day its stops being fun is the day you quit hockey it may have been a little over the top but hes having fun. Who cares I love the passion of the kids. Nfl players do a dance when they score and there penalized for it. Just wait soon the old men of hockey will implement a rule to stop celebrations after a goal.
