I think that kind of energy really shows just how much he loves the game and, in particular, scoring. I remember when I played atom and peewee I used to love celebrating after my goals. It was pure joy. There are bigger problems in the game than celebrations.

You bought him, he's all your. Great team guy and a far better all around player than he ever really gets credit for. That said, he is getting older, he's not terribly durable and I'd rather not have him signed to a long term deal. He was so good in the lineup that his frequent absences were always costly. For a team hoping to win the Cup, you need guys in the line up that will be able to stay healthy.

Some people in hockey are such crotchety old men. It's like they are really playing for life and death and laughing is some kind of dereliction of duty. If it was a goal when the Oilers were up by 3, he'd be a dink. If they were getting blown out and he did it, he'd be a clown. It was a late tying goal and it was a little over the top. But really, who cares? Let the kid celebrate how he wants.
