Briere can't take faceoffs so he'll play LW along side Couturier.

I'm told Danny #Briere will play tonight for the #Flyers. Twitter in Philadelphia begins to explode in 3…2…1… #NHL

That might explain why the Flyers weren't interested in signing him. Cost was too high.

do you guys think that Weber and Suter are overrated when they arent together. I havent seen much of Weber but, Suter looks to be struggling mightily without his former partner.
- wingz4life

Suter's offseason signing was definitely overpayment but I think he'll be fine. He's not the same level/calibre player that Weber is (IMO). Suter was really amazing in the Vancouver WOlympics.

They aren't, if he wants to play & can he should play. He's terrible on faceoffs anyway so this is fine.

And it's not as sensitive an injury to hurry back from like say a groin pull or achilles injury.

Eh.. if he cant do something its an issue to me.. he isnt that bad at faceoffs.. but it means there is still an issue with the wrist..

But im a nobody so I guess it really doesnt matter what I think to the flyers

I feel bad he has to finish his career as a puck barricade in front of shampoo boy. Bet torts is happy tho, just the slab of beef he needed to get ground up in their own crease.

If he has anything left, it's a good signing for the Rags.

I'm sure he has enough shot blocks left in him to be serviceable for Fonzi

I don't get all this Laughton banishment mongering personally. Has been impressive thus far. Wouldn't be the first player to benefit from NHL experience at his age.

just worried about burning a year off his ELC at such a young age...

I'm not sure how I feel about it.. but as long as he doesn't become a superstar it shouldn't be an issue resigning him in 2 years
