Dear god fellow oiler fans, dont you realize how little trade value MPS has right now? he put up 8 points in 41 games last year, playing on the 3rd and 4th line this year won't make him produce any more. The trade deadline is real close to the end of the Regular Season. If the Flyers are out of it why not trade Timonen and get something of value for him? Ek clearly clarified if the team becomes a seller. Which means would teams who are playoff bound, be interested in a player from a non playoff team, in a trade.
