people need to relax. I personally see nothing wrong with an athlete showing raw excitement. its the scripted crap that annoys me. Edmonton just had a goal disallowed a minute earlier (lame call if you ask me) and the kid scores a nice goal with 10 seconds left to overcome the call. he was excited. love it

Overall the entire team played very good hockey... Likely the biggest noticeable is how the defense and goaltending redeemed themselves I cant wait for the Calgary game...

I can see being a Kings fan and being bitter, which is probably exactly what I'd do in their shoes after such a frustrating game all around, but why is everyone else getting so butthurt over it? As an Oilers fan, it was freaking rad; I was so excited I almost headbutted my dog through a wall. You would feel the same way if it was your boy.

Edit: And for the record, my favorite part about that gif for some reason is how, mid-slide across the ice, the Oilers score changes from 0 to 1. Anyone else notice that?

3. The Oilers needed to pick up a goalie for organizational depth reasons. My guess is he'll be sent to play for the Oilers farm team in OKC, and Tyler Bunz will return to the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL.

I`d like to see Yak sliding down the ice on a shootout attempt....even on his knees, he sure did fly down the ice, and he slid really far nice and straight.

Again it is a termination contract. I do not think any team will pick up an ECHL goalie on the Waiver wire. Danis on the other hand would get picked off the waiver wire. It isn't really a big deal it is a pick-up to help the organizational depth in goal.

You think that was bad? In Europe they throw coins at soccer players, storm the field, and shout monkey calls at black players. Fans are really nice here. So what if they launched a few beers at the ice, the ice is already poop, and the refs were nowhere near free from villification after they blew the game.
