Good point, the Habs are fairly solid on D with a couple real good prospects. I would certainly entertain offers for PK if I was them. I can really see the Flyers making presenting an offer sheet as they are getting desperate. The only thing holding up that offer sheet right now is the cap.

You guys can forget an offer sheet. Is PK worth $6-7-8 million a year? No he isn't. So what sort of contract will a team offer him? Likely looking at $4-5 million per season which is a contract Montreal is simply going to match. habs want a bridge contract but that doesn;t mean they cannot afford a longer one.

Only way Subban goes to another team via an RFA contract is if that con tract is so ridiculous.

So what sort of package would it take for a fan base who are drawn towards flashy players. Bergevin would have to acquire an absolute super star or else the fan base would turn on him so quickly.
