At this point they should trade him, it would be awkward if he just showed up in that lockeroom after snubing his team over money. - Alexzanki
Good point, the Habs are fairly solid on D with a couple real good prospects. I would certainly entertain offers for PK if I was them. I can really see the Flyers making presenting an offer sheet as they are getting desperate. The only thing holding up that offer sheet right now is the cap. |

Only way to get Subban via offer sheet would be to grossly over pay him, IMO. Don't see the Flyers doing that. - NickTheKid87
Grossly overpay, you mean Grossman? |

And the fact it will be matched. If Fyers tried to lure PK it would have to be via trade. Couturier would 100% have to be involved and Habs know Flyers are desperate so would require more. |

You guys can forget an offer sheet. Is PK worth $6-7-8 million a year? No he isn't. So what sort of contract will a team offer him? Likely looking at $4-5 million per season which is a contract Montreal is simply going to match. habs want a bridge contract but that doesn;t mean they cannot afford a longer one.
Only way Subban goes to another team via an RFA contract is if that con tract is so ridiculous.
So what sort of package would it take for a fan base who are drawn towards flashy players. Bergevin would have to acquire an absolute super star or else the fan base would turn on him so quickly. - willey101
Philadelphia style, you should be worried It's a coming, 8 years at 50 million

i'm not sold on 'coots' being the second coming of christ. some people say that years from now they will rename the selke after him, personally i see him as more of a saku koivu-ish potential |
