I don't like it when people say 'it is not Bryz's fault' when clearly he has been awful. But yesterday, he played a great game
- strongsupporter

Please tell me when has been awful in any of the prior 3 games this season?

No Sarcasm... Shelly looked good last night. Don't know if it was facing a former team or the fact that Lavy was giving everyone equal time but wow. Great game for everyone.

Yes, very impressive. That whole line played above and beyond what we all expected. Read-Giroux-Simmonds looked great too.

I really liked the look on Simmond's face after he scored the goal, he was stoic, and incredulous and kind of "whatever" all at the same time when the puck went off his leg into the net. Then he started laughing at the replay. He's a keeper.

I liked jakes.. He was amped up

Did you guys see Nail Yakupov's goal celebration after he scored with 5 seconds left in the game to tie it up? Some people aren't as thrilled about the celebration as Nail was after scoring the goal.

Way overboard. One of the vets needs to sit him down for a chat.

Fans from around the league are taking the "act like you've been there before" approach.

Well, guess what? He hasn't been there before.

I have a bigger issue with crosby punching people in the balls from behind..

Understood but he didn't just score the Cup winner, either.

I get it that he's just a kid. No problem there. He just needs to tone it down a couple notches.

Imho, of course.

Exactly! Anyways, done sparingly it's often moments like that draws new fans in. That's real emotion right there, you can't fake that.

He'll probably be a target for opposing players nonetheless. I don't really view it as a celebration that was meant to belittle the opposition but a celebration of pure, unadulterated excitement.

Wish we ended up with J Schultz.

If he does that after every goal, I'll probably have an issue with it. For his first, I'll let it slide.

There were some fans that complained during the lockout about not enough people (owners and players) caring about "the game".

Well, Yakupov scored the game winner and celebrated like a kid playing a game. Which he is.

I don't see much wrong with that.

If he keeps doing it, somebody will probably beat his face in before too long. These things have a natural way of taking their course, one way or another.

Ah. Well, it was kind of a big one. And I see it was the game-tying goal, not the winner as I thought. Either way, as long as he doesn't go Ovechkin and jump into the glass after every one, it's cool.
