I think the biggest thing Holmgren has to to do is remain patient. Make the right move, not just making a move just to make one. He's shown that he knows how to acquire defenseman. Of all the major trades he's made for defenseman, only one didn't work out.

Yes. Someone suggested on Twitter, after the Devils game, that Lavi was on the hot seat. I responded that if he is, Homer's seat should be hotter. However, Lavi is going to make due with what roster he has. Homer did try to provide the team with better D in Weber and Suter. Plus, he *did* land Chris Pronger - the ending of that move could not be foreseen and left a huge gap in Homer's planned roster.

Even if the Flyers have a bad shortened season, I don't think either Lavi or Homer deserve a firing. Heck, if Andy Reid got 14 years in Philly...
