ASF tweeted that Mezzy injured a muscle near the AC joint.

That is a shoulder separation and actually it's not terrible news if true. 3-4 weeks typically.

AC injuries much easier to come back from then dislocations or another labrum injury.

Id be willing to bet he tore the deltoid attachment. Its exactly what I did when I separated my AC.. the actual separation was a low grade, but the muscle tear was a female dog.. couldnt *abduct my arm for an easy 3 weeks.


*For those wondering, Abduct means to move your arm away from your body.

speaking of gear: if anyone's interested, i've got 3 sets of leg pads i'd like to get rid of for virtually nothing. louisvilles (old)-but very good shape), itechs (worn twice, about 3 years old), and vaughn (about 5 years old - decent condition).
