Would be well worth it Cptmjl. Isles better not be finnished with Dion yet.

If he takes a run at JT next game he'll get his ass whooped. You can count on it.

LOL I agree with you..its just dion has been running since he hit KO so i don't expect him to ever man up
- NYI78

That's because no one has made him pay the price for those hits.

Guys like him are why every team still needs a "DISPENSABLE" player who will clean his clock and take the suspension while not actually hurting the team.

Last night wasnt the 1st time JT was run from behind and it wont be the last.

Isles need to send the league another message. Touch JT and your going down. Because one of these times. JT may may sustain something serious. Then where are the Islanders?

Better to lose a game and part time 4th liner to a suspension then to lose JT to an Injury that could have been avoided.

It shouldnt come to that.

He's already run JT and KO. Why let him do it again? And risk losing one of our key players!

He should be a marked man already and every player in that dressing room should be giving that bastard a hard time.

Next time we meet. Isles should involve him in at least two majors and countless slashes, crosschecks and jabs

You want someone dispensable for that game? Then bring up Gallant. He'll clean his clock! Easily!

Very true, he is just not what a true tuff guy in hockey is all about. Now does he have talent...absolutely. He just needs to play as a puck moving d-man. Not the lay the big hit spark plug D that ignites his team with the big hits and the ocasional fight.

the isles have chased him for four years...every time he has turtled..every time..if you have a chance you run him..wmorency...martin..carkner..even flipping okposo challenged him..what they did last night was fine...players on this team will stand up for each other i wouldn't lose a game or lose a player for 5 games over it...protect your players..run the guilty party if you can..but don't lose a game over it

With last night's game, I'm taking the approach I usually do when they have a good night...just enjoy it while it's happening but don't get too excited thinking about what it means. Still, if they could just leave it all on the ice one game at a time like they did last night, they could compensate for some of those glaring holes they still have. KO and Grabner are the keys, imo. If they play well, it spreads the focus out a little and lets Tavares and Moulson do their thing. On that note...Grabner's obviously looking good so far, but I thought KO had a better game. Won quite a few battles along the boards last night.

It'd be nice if they could find a way to split the next four, but it'll be tough. Boston's just a good, mean team, Winnipeg is a tough building to play in, and then the Pens and Devils...

Guess it depends on who we're talking about? Now if DP decided to be a punching bag again would you be OK with it?

i still remember last year's eddie westfall night massacre. isles were nice enough to let the b's be the home team (they brought black sweaters and 75% of the fans). i think even eddie was wearing a b's sweater. awkward.

the brooklyn pipe dream aside, do you guys prefer wang moves you to quebec city or greater toronto? do you then still root for the new isles or become bruins or devils fans? i apologize for assuming there's enough dignity left not to follow the rangers.

5 games for a 1st infraction?

Lose JT and you lose a hell of a lot more than a game. Just sayin......

Besides. Losing the game because of overaggressive behavior is merely a worst case possibly not a given. The long term good could in fact put more "W's" on the board for us.

You slash, crosscheck and jab him enough and he'll stop running. Everyone has a breaking point. Its up to the Isles to find it. So far. They havent really tried.

Someone is gonna run JT one of these days and he wont get back up. Then we'll all be saying what a bunch of wusses the Isles were for not protecting the Franchise.

I think it's Michael Vick. Or just someone who hasn't read a newspaper in the last 8 months.
