The reason why they'll never get rid of the instigator penalty is because every time somebody throws a hard clean hit they get challenged by the other team. Get rid of that rule and they'll be nothing but fights after every bodycheck. It will get out of hand in no time. I don't think you'll ever get rid of fighting but I could see down the road if you get into a fight you get tossed from the game. I like it just the way it is personally, but the staged fights are getting old, except for the ones at the beginning of the game. how can you not get fired up after that??
