1 hour to train, plus drive to train station, plus you have to hope to be able to catch a certain train to make it there in time. Plus waiting for a train at Jamaica to and from. Don't get me wrong, I'll still go to games but not nearly at the rate I go now. It's less than one hour round trip for me from Suffolk now. In Brooklyn it will be between 2:30-3 hours round trip

See I dont think Wang will keep the teams payroll around the minimum when we get to Brooklyn... I honestly think, when he offered Smyth, Martin and Volchenkov more money then what they signed... He was embarrassed and really stopped going after the big names. This is why besides the simple fact that they need a new arena... Why he is/was stressing a new arena so much.

Obviously, time will tell (and it prob wont be the first year cuz the players arent going to see the arena until after a full season) but I think he will spend money on the payroll.

it would be nice to not watch a game with DP in net and feel let down, yet again. If he could ever get back to form it would be a great thing for this team, but that pinata has been beaten so badly it's missing a leg and it's head is cracked open.

I'd settle for an overtime loss in this game with DP in net and be happy to have it. I'm just so used to having my hopes crushed. It's like finding out there's no santa every time he starts.

Last nights game gave me a whole lot of hope... they way they came back after being destroyed in the first period... makes me think if DP gives up a stinker or 2.. they can still win... granted they wont be facing the same sieve in net.. but anything is possible & as long as he is put out in a game, im gonna keep hopein for a win outta him.
