But Canadians had a huge problem with a stud like him doing it. Now that a Russian on a Canadian team does it...no problem. Right? Again i am the type of fan that has been defending Ovie when he celebrates, so i love the enthusiasm Yakupov showed. But this just shows Canadians are hypocrites big time.

This isn't against Oilers fans, but Canadian fans and media in general. The way people blasted Ovie was not fair. He LOVES playing this game, and I could see a little of that in Yak. Like everyone was Richardriding Crosby when Ovie was actually on the same level, but they needed to find a knock on his game. If Ovie was Canadian and he did the same celebrations, people would praise him and say how much he is enjoying the game. Oh well Yakupov is SICK.

If a player scores a big goal and wants to lose his brain while celebrating it with his teammates on the ice (the guys that made it happen) no problem.
I gave Yaks a pass on this one due to his age and immaturity but not again.
