I noticed that too. Also was Even I believe. It was still the worst game I've ever seen him play. He was in a different world and played like he drank a bottle of cold medicine... - Pairo11
He's not playing well. That's for sure. But to say he's a joke and a tire fire when he 's not even credited with a giveaway is ridiculous, people want him to start being physical and he finally gets physical with Staal and gets a penalty for it.
How about moving Foligno down?? He has been the worst of the 3. He's not going to the net or hitting people, again all of the fan favorites never recieve any criticism, only the skill guys - sbroads24
It's easier to move one center down than two wings. Unless you think Stafford has been anything short of abysmal. There was a shift in the third where Grigs played with Staff and Foligno and I thought they looked very promising together.
Enroth suckd but so does Miller against the Canes.Folignio s been dissapointing since Philly.Thoughts on moving Kaleta up with the Russian and Ott.I see flashes of talent with the Russian but dont feel hes ready for the 1 st or second line.Sure looks like beyond the first line all we have is a bunch of average hockey players. - buffalo 1
foligno showed some good plays towards the end of the game but it seems like that whole line has sucked this season. Staff is yet to be seen and ennis thinks it is halloween and he is dressed as max

who cares if he was or wasn't credited with a give away... he was terrible last night. i can't think of one play where i said "good job myers".. but i did say "what the hell was that myers" several times.

You just accept that a guy who gets paid $5.5 million dollars is a "notoriously slow starter"? Can I work for you? I would love to start working around 10 or 11 every day. - Pierceme69
His play is not acceptable right now, neither is Ennis, Foligno, Leopold, they were all bad last night. Same thing with Miller and Vanek they are held to a higher standard becuase of their contracts. It's ridiculous IMO after watching that game where Regehr let Staal walk in for a breakway, Cody giving a goal right to Skinner and Pommer making a horrible play that led to the 3 on 1 goal to single Myers out and call him a joke

Yea how could I forget about Stafford and his typical dissapearing act.I fear Lindys going to start messing with the top line to get one of the other lines going.

Myers has looked clumsy and awkward all three games. That's why he is calling him out. No one would argue that anyone not named Hodgson, Vanek, or Pominville sucked last night.

you are right myers was not the only joke of the game.. but i think Myers was the biggest of those.

John Scott played a solid game
Grigorenko looks to be easing into the game.. i wouldn't say he sucked, he needs to pop in a goal to give him confidence to shot and stop always looking for the fancy pass.

I didn't get to watch the game but I just watched the highlights of it and in the 4:35 of highlights I saw Foligno hit two posts... I also saw Grigo's strong scoring chance but he wasn't able to get enough on his stick to whip it in in addition to Ward getting his leg over.
Everyone is throwing Myers under the bus for not stopping the pass on the 5th goal.... He might have been slow to him but he had his stick down to block the pass but I think it was Dalpe made a great play in extending his stick around Myers. Can't call him horrible just becuase you want fuel to the fire... sometimes you have to credit the other players.
Leo just watched that pass go right by him to Staal...
well i have a feeling this is going to be a big biotch about the sabres fest in here today.. i think i will try to stay away.. not much good to tlak about from last night.. The only thing i can say is i actually am approving of the way Lindy is easing Grigs into the game.

Watching 5 minutes of highlights doesn't show you all of the suckery. He looks oafish. Stumbling over his own two feet. Clumsy with the puck. If he didn't have the reach of Manute Bol he'd be totally useless right now.

Not ready to give up on him yet but there is no way you can defend him. He's been brutal. There's no way to sugarcoat it.

the play leading up to the pass by Dalpe was terrible by myers.. i think he had two or three chances to clear the zone and he limp wristed it..

Myers isnt the only problem on D but at 5 mil hes expected to be much better. Our whole D corp looked bad last night. Cant pick out one guy you could be happy with. They all looked lost.

The forwards were just as bad defensively. It was disappointing that the only line that can score was giving the puck away for goals as well.

Games like last night should be the exception to the rule for him by now. It is alarming that since his rookie year he has put together long stretches of extremely underwhelming play (to put it politely).
Since the Calder Trophy he has regressed. There is no way around that. Can he turn it around? Sure. Will he? Not really giving any tangible signs of that right now.
The guy is supposed to be the pillar of the defense corp. Not the guy you hide on the bench in crunch time.

I think easing him into the game is the sign he's staying for the season. I thought he played pretty decent in the 3rd, and got real unlucky with that wrap around attempt. Who knows what Lindy is thinking, maybe he limits Grigs ice time to make him wanting more?

Yes, that was the most offensively alive that I've seen Stafford and Foligno this season. It was also Grigo's best shift yet. I think Ruff should make this a line for tomorrow. I like Ennis a lot but that line hasn't been producing and these three came very close for the less than a minute they were together. - DWE-74_29
