I don't know, on the fifth goal when Leopold and Myers were out there and the puck could have been cleared 3 or 4 times...that was pretty bad.

Not an extremist point of view, everyone keeps saying how great these players are that we have however, all these great players have gotten us no place. IMO more of the CORE needs to be moved and I would start with Stafford. I really don't want to see Lindy ruin Grigo like he has other players.

I really wish I knew what the issue with Myers's game is. People have said and it's true he definitely looks a lost. Hopefully it'll just be a matter of simplifying his game. I think you're right about people expecting him to be different. I remember last year when people were getting all up in arms about Regehr and his lack of point production. That's simply not his game. I just want to see Myers play a steady two way game. Clean up his play in the defensive zone and let his playmaking come back afterwards. He's been putting some heavy hits on early this season too which is good to see.

im with you. Nothing changes, they win he same games and they lose the same type of games. Tonight was a typical no show by 80% of the team, and I saw it coming from a mile away

He does look confused sometimes, but that's on Ruff and Patrick. He was fantastic his rookie year and the more they coach him, the more confused he gets.

Outside of the Flyers series, Myers has gotten worse since his rookie year. That is a huge problem when said player just signed a multi million dollar extension. He looks like a guy that should be playing in the AHL rather than the NHL. He is completely lost out there. I've said it many times, IMO he will never be the player we all want him to be. He's not A Chara/Pronger type nor is he a Karlsson type. He'll probably end up being a Leopold type d-man. While that's not a bad thing, it isn't what we hoped for either.

I had to work so just watching the replay of the game now....om a positive note what a filthy pass Vanek made to Pommer on the third goal.

Vanek can be filthy at times. See the start of last season. Lets just hope his play doesn't fall apart like last yr.
