I hate to say it, but that's just false. Miller's glove hand leaves a lot to be desired. The goals that Miller DOES stop however, are the five hole goals. Staal's breakaway goal was a joke. Enroth's five hold was wide open and his stick was off the ice. And the slapper that went through there is just inexcusable.
- DWE-74_29

What's false then? It sounds like you agree, Enroth got schooled and let Staal walk right into him, no poke check no aggressivness, that's not a goal against Miller

Enroth looked like poop... They should have scored more like when he was on the ground for what seemed to be a minute.

We would have gone to OT or maybe even won in regulation with Miller in net. Enroth hasn't won a game for the sabres in over 10 games....

My bad, for some reason I thought you were talking about the Staal goal where he just sniped Enroth over his glove. So yes I do fully agree with you.

See, I agree with the 2 goals, but not those ones. I see what you mean about the post to post one, that ones arguable. I think the ones that Miller stops are the five hole shots. Enroth has a porous five hole and teams around the league know it if you watch shootout videos against him.
- DWE-74_29

Miller may or may not get the 5 hole ones. I was merely pointing out that because Enroth is smaller, he couldn't make those saves. If Miller had been in, there wouldn't have been a question. Those would have been routine saves only because he covers those parts of the net that Enroth can't.

The second line needs to figure out how to score goals, Ennis has not impressed me at all, Foligno is fine it will come with him(I hope) and Stafford i've been done with for 3 years now. Ennis is not an elite center he should be a 3rd line center. Olli looks better by the day.

The talk on WGR the other day was how Ruff had Myers on the bench with less than 2 on the clock against Toronto. Tonight I was pretty shocked at how lost Myers looked out there. He's one of those players you would expect to come and be ready to play after such a layoff.

I'd give Leggio a try. He's used to being left high and dry and facing thirty something shots every game.

Myers has been lost for 3 games now this year alone, not counting the end last season.

That's true. The only time I thought he played decent was in the 3rd against the Flyers.

Explain to me how Stafford is so good and Ennis is so good? you won't sniff the playoffs with those 2 in the lineup. We have seen this show from Stafford for years now and it's old, it's been old he should have been gone instead he gets an extension. I guess Darcy didn't learn from the Connolly disaster, Ennis is to damn small and has no business centering the second so called"scoring" line.

People think Myers should never make a bad play for some reason and ignore all the small little things he does, they also think he should fight and wreck everyone in sight. I give up on trying to defend him

Heres Alex Pietrangelo the other night, someone people keep saying is playing so much better than Myers... I have yet to see Myers make a play this bad

I don't know, on the fifth goal when Leopold and Myers were out there and the puck could have been cleared 3 or 4 times...that was pretty bad.

Almost doesn't count now does it we went to the super bowl 4 years in a row and still lost, doesn't matter if you lose. Stafford should have already been traded he will pull the same crap he does every year and I don't have enough time to talk about Ennis. Opinion's vary.

the sabres lost tonight because they were completely inept defensively and the powerplay was embarassing no matter who was on the ice, then the goalie couldnt stop anything. and in their first loss of the season you are declaring the playoffs out of of the question because ennis is too small to be a 2nd line center.

mind boggling, really.

Yes I am, I said Ennis is to small and he is. We win that game with Miller in net. Some people are married to the scub players we have , that's what sad.
