I am not using it as an excuse.. I am saying it because I have a Master's degree in human anatomy and kinesiology..... you can tell when a player just doesn't have the strength in his limbs to do what he wants to do... he is playing timid.

I dont' get the chance to watch every game....

i just think that an 'ehhh not great" play made by other players is thrown under the rug and not a big deal... but when an "ehhh not great" play is made by Myers.. then all of a sudden it is like someone slapped your grandmother and he needs to burn at the stake. Bigger guy.... bigger contract... bigger expectations... bigger magnifying glass.

Last year he got hurt twice. 2 years ago he and Miller were the 2 best players in the Flyers series.

I think that you are correct... but.... if you trade myers.... Brennan, Leopold, Regehr, and Sulzer could all be gone after this season... then we are screwed back there and would be forced to either sign UFAs or bring up McNabb, McCabe, and Pysyk long before they are ready...

He has similar numbers over those two years to PK Subban. Is PK a bust too? Is Chara a bust? He didn't touch Myers' numbers until his 5th year in the league.

It is an opinion, one that can be countered by other facts. You might be right, but you might also be wrong. It's ultimately healthier to embrace that possibility.

BTW- I also manage high-cost projects for fortune 100 companies - I haven't found arrogance to be a particularly helpful asset in my line of work. And I can say it'll end up making your life on this site harder, if you care about that sort of thing.
