I don't think Tangradi fits in the NHL. He has nice size, but I don't think he is better suited for the Oilers than Teemu Hartikainen on that third line. PRV would be a better fit with Pittsburgh with a center to carry the offensive load for him. - Ben37
Hartikainen might be the most awkward skater I've seen in the NHL.

Watching Stars/Hawks. Chicago is a handful. They are flying out of the gate. |

What about glass? and saying he's solid is a stretch. He's good enough, but definitely could be worse |

Yep. Lehtonen kept that game from being about 10-2. |

Only reason Orr fought was for revenge. He wouldn't of if Engelland wasn't playing |

Let me rephrase then, do you think Glass would ever fight an Orr type? My point is we have one of the toughest guys in the league, and he can play. That's rare and you keep that when you have 20 million dollars tied up in 3 players. On top of that he only makes just north of $500,000. You don't trade that guy for a player who has proven nothing. I mean, and on top of all that, you want to trade for a foward Engellend himself had a better PPG average than last year.

It's for someone who has plenty of skill with nowhere to display it. The "tough guy" role is slowly fading. Glass is more than enough. I can't see Engelland being around for too much longer with our prospects coming to age. I'm not saying go out and trade Engelland right now, but if a deal that makes sense comes up, then you do it. |

as much as id love to see the pens get that guy and try him out, this is about as sound of an argument against moving Engellend that can be made. id be all for moving something for him though |

Honestly I wouldn't trade Engelland. This would make us an easy target for goons. And yeah he can play fairly well.
I'd say trade Lovejoy/Bortuzzo before we even think about trading Engelland.

Its going to sound crazy but Engelland is more irreplaceable organizationally than Despres. Its just the way the depth in the Pens system shakes out.
Engelland is a competent bottom pairing d man who is a legit modern day enforcer. Playable toughness. |
