I think NF has had his avatar longer than I've had mine.

A tin man, yes. That tin man, no.

Did his tin man change before or after your goose changed? I think it was after.

Yeah there are going to be some tough choices to make. I honestly don't see Ryan coming here. Just don't see his personality saying "I'm down to play IN buffalo". But were going to want some room for Armia and I dont know who loses their spot. Depending on how our forwards play, some people may just have to wait their turn. On defense I can say that I agree more or less with that. Leo and Regehr's time is running short. I think brennan is some great trade bait. Esp if he gets some games in this season and does well. Can see darcy/ruff wanting to hold onto stafford. Dunno. Well see

Good points
I'm actually ok with stafford, but Ryan would be an upgrade

could be nice to see a third line of ott girgs armia... armia is a shooter and grigs could set him up.. then a 4th line with kaleta tropp and someone else..

but it would be nice to get an upgrade on the top two lines or see the guys there make a leap of skill this year

I actually think Catanacci will be our Darren Helm
- sbroads24

Does he have that physical side to his game?
All I really know is how talented he is offensively

Armia will go through the same growing pains as Gringo / Cody. So we might see any production out of him for 2-3 more years . I'm prolly wrong

4th line center is an issue for us
I'd like someone gritty, good at faceoffs, & able to move up to 3rd line and provide at least some offense
Hecht is "ok" but is terrible at faceoffs & clearly not a banger

Helm from Detroit is a guy I've mentioned that would be a perfect fit

Armia on that 3rd line next year is gonna be awesome
There's actually a chance we see him at the end of this season

I doubt he comes in and scores 30goals,
But I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped 20, with 20 or more assists...
I think he'd fit perfectly with Ott & Grigorenko,
And remember,
With that being our "3rd" line... He likely wouldn't see other teams top defenders too often

Yea somewhat, I don't think he will be a 20 goal scorer, but a role player with some skill like a Helm type player is where I see him ending up

Im not sure how good he is defensively I know he is a 1st liner on the sound. I think his skill set is comparable to Helm, right now he is a scoring machine so I doubt he's been focusing on playing d, although he should to increase his chances of playing in the NHL

if you are a 3rd/4th line player you have to be better defensively to get a real shot. i noticed he has been scoring at a good clip.. But i also see Kea scoring a decent amount and he is a big body and solid defensively. Logan Nelson made some leaps this season too.

Talent Analysis

A speedy forward with the ability to play all three positions, Catenacci will end up a winger in the NHL. He uses his acceleration to create space when he has the puck, find space when he does not and finish his checks should the need arise. People often overlook Catenacci because of his lack of size, but he has shown more than a willingness to get in the dirty areas and play physical.
