Oh the lockout started in september didn't it? Playoffs end in June...GILIS HAD 2 MONTHS to trade him.

If you were the least bit realistic you would realize that Luongo getting the Leafs to 8th place and a 1st round ass kicking is worthless. You would also realize that he's signed for 10 years. And 34 years old. That's a lot of playoff failure when the Leafs could be using that time to just keep rebuilding.

Your team is old, barely much young ready to take over, cap issues. The past has been a collosal failure with no Cups.
