and it's ironic that you guys need to spend your night in here trying to convince fans of another fanbase that not ever winning jack poop.. ever.. is more relevant than winning 13 stanley cups prior to 46 years ago. you believe in this so passionately, that you'll make it your lifes purpose to try to convince the leafs fans on a hockey forum, that score is in fact.. even.
it's pathetic. it lacks substance, and it screams of desperation. sit your kids down at night time and convince them that it means something, and i'm sure they'll go for it.
you guys don't need us, you can get your validation in other, less painful places.. - joel878
Thats is not what I am saying at all. *sigh* It's like you kids never listen anymore. |

funny.. that you still hold on to that, as if aaron (frank)ing rome meant aaaanything.
- joel878
Losing Rome hurt much less than losing Hamhuis, but all of a sudden number 8 on the depth chart is playing. The one thing Rome had going for him was at least he was physical. |
|
|
|
You see, this is where you lose all credibility. It was not the loss of Rome. It was the loss of Hamuis, who Rome would have picked up his minutes rather than Andrew Alberts but, of course you know all of that. - Beatle_john
aaron rome getting suspended led to his pylon ass not stepping in or an injured hamhuis, rather than andrew alberts.. in essence, costing the vancouver canucks the stanley cups.
dominos.
stfu, man. your act is pathetic. |
Explain why he's being traded if he's such a great goalie?
Either he's not a top 10 goalie anymore or, by some dumbass logic, Schneider is suddenly a top 10 goalie and just happens to be higher on the list than Luongo. - jribout
no your getting it

Lundqvist, Miller, Rinne, Ward, Kiprusoff, Quick, Price, Fleury, Lehtonen and Thomas (when he's playing). Hell, even Howard, Halak and Backstrom are more desirable.
He's 34, his contract sucks, he sucks and he's only going to get worse from here. - Two_For_Truth

I don't know about Kipper but Halak is really good. And Price is good, but look at his playoff record? And he lead his team to worse than Toronto last year. That is saying something. - Allstarzz
Halak is really good but Price is better. Much younger too. |

Without Price? Habs are last in the East. With him? They are last in the East. Halak is the better goalie. Playoff stats, and St.Louis has a really good team and he is their number 1. |

And then it was realized how much Bieksa needed Hamhuis. Likely, entirely dependent. |

I guess your'e technically right. 14 isn't 10. - Feeling Glucky?

Anderson in Ottawa, even the Losers, I mean Sens, get lucky sometimes. At least Tom Petty thinks so. |

That is substancially the argument. 3 of the top 4 were out. That is not an excuse. Just makes the Rome thing so much more significant. Either way, what a hell of a year. WHOO WHOO! |

He might be a top 10 tea party advocate, but he doesn't play anymore. |

i understand why you're confused.
3 of them are championship winning goalies. |

Must be the same logic you apply to Luongo not being crap even though he's on the trading block. |

Just like he was in the playoffs. |

Now I know nucks fans insist that Luongo is a "Vezina-type" goalie... but Thomas actually won it. Twice. AND a Conn Smythe.
Once again, Nucks defend an "almost" over a "ACTUALLY (frank)ING HAPPENED" |
