He won because he did nothing. Got that? Already went over this. The canucks core was brought in by Burke and Nonis.
- Allstarzz

It's so awesome of Leafs nation to tell the fans that follow the Canucks every day how their team was built.

No mention of Keenan either......all Burke and Nonis.

So....Kesler isnt hurt he just quit the cult?

Or does this have something to do with Gingers and how they eat souls, but have no souls themselves.

i am sorry, you are spinning out of control. What did that even mean?

Gluck, I am not sure I do. You never hear me putting down individuals on here or make jokes other than Phaneuf.

I also never Bring up the Canucks. I only respond.

Think of it this way: I am a fan of the leafs but not a part of "Leaf Nation". I think I am objective and fair. Kessel is great. Kardi I wanted in the Lou deal badly, if there was one.

- Beatle_john

I think it's the part where you show up after losses and aren't as vocal after wins.

Actually, Lou kept the Canucks in that series longer than they should have been (8 Goals scored in 7 games) by putting up two shutouts and a 1-0 performance.

But hey, research is hard to do.

- Mattjd123

Did Scheinder get in on that action? I didn't know your future #1 had finals experience, that will be invaluable for him moving forward.

Research? I watched that series. The bruins absolutely smoked the Canucks. It was so fun when the rest of Canada was cheering for the Bruins. I sure was. I like cheering for the canadian teams, but I hate the diving team that the Canucks had. The bruins had more Canadians on their team too.

No, Toronto has won 13 cups. In non-head to head seasons.

Toronto has won zero in head to head season.

Don;t you ever think I do not respect the Banners at the ACC. But do even you not think it friggin 100% ironic that they needed to be replaced with new ones?

Toronto once represented English Canada vs French speaking Canada but they are no longer Canada's team. I am not sure, other than English CBC, anyone ever believed that to be true.

- Beatle_john

So Toronto has 13 Cups, The Canucks have 0.

Luongo was bi-polar in that series and you know it. If he had one decent game in Boston, they win a Cup. That's why they got him. They didn't get him to win three out of seven games. They got him to win four.

Close, only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

I prefer the "jekyll and hyde" analogy.

I just hate (and mostly it comes from fairweather Vancouver fans I talk to) people saying Lou lost them that series. It would have been 4-0 Bruins without him.

Boston outscored Vancouver 23 to 8 in the series.

And physically dominated them too.
