wait wait wait...

You're accusing him of piling on the Nucks?

Interesting for a couple of reasons:

1) Despite your insistence to the opposite, you're admitting that his comments are hurting your sorry little ego.

2) You came into this thread to join your troll friends in mocking a team after a loss... aka, "piling on". Is it because you're so hurt about the never-ending failure that is your team?

why doesn't beatle john address this?

Do the Yankees have to give back their world series too? Do the Habs have to give back more than half their titles too? Maybe the ISlanders and Oilers need to give back their titles, 21 isn't 30 after all. Hmm, maybe we should just stop celebrating cup wins now, because one day teams from Europe will be in the league.
- mykokes

Not at all. The Franchise of Toronto has won 13 cups in a 6 team league. They have won zero since expansion and are currently tied 0 - 0 with the Canucks.

On the other hand, during that same period, the Canucks have won Jennings, Calder, Art Ross, Presidents, Jack Adams, Rocket Richard Pearson and Hart Tropies.

Boston, New York, Montreal, Detroit and Chicago have all won cups since expansion ... two against the Canucks. Yet Toronto remains the only team to not win after expansion.

Vancouver fully admits, accepts and honours the fact that they have less cups head to head than most teams.

In a fair and head to head comparrison, many are better. Many, such as Detroit, Edmonton and Montreal and Pittsburg and New Jersey are way better.

Yes because he took over a Burke and Nonis built team and did what exactly? Trade for ballard. Cool story bro. Burke and Nonis got these players: Sedin sisters, Kesler, burrows, Edler, Luongo, Schneider, Bieksa...i bet im missing some people. But their core is all Burke and Nonis. All gilis has done is NOTHING. And he gets the gm of the year award lol Overrated.

Why?

Signed Malholtra. Great signing before injury.

Signed Hamhuis.

Traded for Lapierre and Higgins at the deadline.

Team lost in game 7 of the finals, won the president's trophy.

I heard Chiarelli/Burke were runners up.

Not winning a cup head to head to does not make Cup wins go away.

By the way Canucks fans talk, you sure Vancouver admits and honors the fact you have less cups than most teams? Because the way Nucks fans talk, you would think they have a couple at least.
