Really, so ur gonna use its our first b2b dude every team plays like 6 or 7 b2b this year, after watching the highlights you guys need a goalie most of those goals were pretty soft - arnpriorguy
Let's see how many of those teams lose the second game of the b2b?
Just because everyone does it, doesn't mean it's any less of a legitimate excuse. Unless of course it's the Leafs. |

they've played 4 games in 6 nights.. in 3 different cities.
did the canucks forget to fill the tank before saturday? - joel878
But that is what I actually meant. It is a compressed season and only the first week of it. If teams are bushed now, just think of how it will be in a few weeks.
I just don;t see Detroit or Pittsburgh ever saying that. It should be a balanced playing field. Oh well, some nights it just sucks no matter what you do.
Was that Reimer's first play? |

we definitely need a goalie.
scrivens should be in the ahl.
we need someone more capable that can take on something like a 65% - 35% split with reimer.
.. or we just need to stick with what we've got and draft in the top 5. i'm not going to encourage a tank.. but i'm fine with whatever happens. |

Dude. Calm down. They had an AHL legend on their team.
15 years from now, they'll have another AHL legend on their team, by the name if Nino Niederreiter |

compressed schedule or not, i think you'll see alot of fatigued teams playing on the tail end of a back to back, after travelling in the middle of the night, against a fresh team who had a night off. those teams will really be exposed in a compressed schedule.
reimers first play? he started last night.. |

Nah... Make a big move this year... they will spend some money before Brooklyn.
Hopefully Wang sells the team to Mikhail Prokhorov. (Nets Owner) |

I'm not bashing the leafs, goaltending was the difference tonight period the leafs got 4 goals on 43 and the islanders got 7 goals on 33 numbers don't lie ,to get 43 shots on goals usually means outplaying your opponent period. |

Scrivens started (5 goals allowed), Reimer finished (1 goal allowed). Reimer started last night in Pittsburgh, 5-2 win. Reimer will likely start saturday.

They didn't outplay them at all though. After the first period the Leafs barley held the puck in the Islanders end for more then 5 seconds at a time. |
