Looked like the Reimer from 2 seasons ago last night though - moving very well and battling a lot more.

probably should have stopped both goals, but both were technical errors and with the layoff he's had that's to be expected. Neither was terrible, and he was excellent the rest of the game I thought.

Agreed.

Fans have to expect goals are going to be scored, whether the goalies fault of the dmens fault. The fact we've only averaged 2 a game should be applauded. Sooner or later that average is going to go up, so we need to be patient with these guys who are just gaining the experience they lack.

Glad to see Orr exorcise his demon last night. Now, if we could get Komi to do the same to Lucic, we'd be on our way!!

My point was that he wasn't any more impressive than Scrivens was against Montreal and Buffalo. I like the idea of you win you play the next game, but not in back to back games.

Crosby's shot was also a weird one. As a goalie, you tend to read the puck by the angles on it. As the puck was rolling on Crosby, he swatted at it and it was a bit of a knucklepuck. Looks easy to stop, but is harder than it looks

carlyle uses his third line as the secondary scoring line.. that was actually the line lupul was on last night when he got hurt if i'm not mistaken.

1st line primary scoring
2nd line primary shut down of opposition top line with secondary scoring
3rd line: secondary scoring line
4th line grit and character

They play a similiar type of game, so its shouldnt be too bad. Obviously Lupul is the better player, but I think Frattin should fit in nicely.
