exactly.

its like a line 1, line 2a 2b.

last 2 years we ran a 1a,1b 4, 4

- big_dion

And when we had Sundin, it was more of a 1b,4,4,4.

lottery picks are no more with the the new cba.

14 teams have a shot at picking number 1 i beleive

- zazzle

They haven't even released how it's being done, yet, and whether it's going to be all teams that need to get selected (screwing up the draft order) or whether it's just one team that wins the lottery and the rest stay put. I think they'll go with the second way, but I prefer the first way.

ask danielle.. she'll tell you that you have to repeat things to me 3 or 4 times for them to sink in anyways

I love the:

Sarah: "Are you ready?"
Me: Eh?
Sarah: Frank man get dressed
Me: Why where are we going?
Sarah: I told you yesterday
Me: Erm... i know love, it's all in here (tapping my head, thinking what the Frank is she talking about?)

Anyways we get to the church and it all becomes clear. My wedding isn't it.

The true replacement for Lupul is Kadri. What the hell is he doing on their third line anyway? He was their best player last night getting the assist on the MacArthur goal that got the Leaf's offense going, and giving the Pens a hard time with him in their zone (drew BOTH penalties on their first five-on-three). I do give shouts out to Phaneuf and van Riemsdyk (JVR for being at the right place at the right time), but Kadri was really good.

Geez, they're so tentative with him as if he's doomed to fail. I say put him on the first line! He has great eyes, there's no reason he can't set up Kessel or JVR, both who can snipe goals. He's a better puck carrier than they are anyway.

Ive said the same thing.

Only about 12 minutes last night, and Lupul got hurt early in the game. I know the team has depth, but this guy needs to be playing 15-16 minutes every night.

Learning to play Center in the NHL is what he's doing, which is where he should be. He's not ready for #1 center yet.

Leave Kadri on the third line and let him mature.
This is the problem I have with so many fans. They just want to push people on to the top line and let them sink or swim.

Carlyle is giving him more opportunities and more ice time in different situations. Slowly allowing him to adjust to the game. One thing to think about is that Kadri still has a smaller frame. Throwing him out against top pairing D may end up with him getting leveled (look up Hall and RNH).

Guys like P. Sharp and J. Staal grew up on the third line, improving their game before taking the next step.

For once we have a management team that believes in developing players, working on their game, and building a team the right way, and I continually see fans get impatient and freak out.

ya... way Reimer played he should get it, but they got in after midnight, who knows.

Looked like the Reimer from 2 seasons ago last night though - moving very well and battling a lot more.

probably should have stopped both goals, but both were technical errors and with the layoff he's had that's to be expected. Neither was terrible, and he was excellent the rest of the game I thought.

Back to back games, have to go with Scrivens. Especially since Reimer wasn't that impressive last night.
